Waterproof welding blanket - Do these exist?

I want a screen for when I am welding outside, that won't get damaged by the rain. Do waterproof welding blankets exist? If so, where can I get them please? Thanks.

All my welding blankets are fibreglass so would have thought they'd be waterproof

They certainly exist, I've got one.
Thin (2mm?) rubber-like material. Textured surface. Good for cars as it grips on well and doesn't slide off.
Feels like rubber but it's probably something else.
Don't remember the brand (had it years and its lasted well) Think it was sold for protecting car windscreens. Probably supplied by 3m or wurth or one of the big bodyshop suppliers

What do you want the blanket for? to provide a shelter for you when your welding or provide a cover to just welded areas in the event of rain.

Shelter for me and the material I'm welding so I can weld outside in the rain if I have to.

One of those gazebos from your local cut price emporium or the net would do that, £40. protect passersby from the welding if your within eye shot of pedestrians.

Flamability may be a concern if you use something not intended for welding. Gazebos burn quite well, I believe.

Don't get me started.

Last urgent spannering and welding job I had to do was in February. No garage and hammering down with rain so put the gazebo up over it.

The first day with the slightest bit of wind, it collapsed on top of the car. Only an old banger so didn't worry too much. Put it back up with the legs reinforced with bits of 4x2.

That worked until the next day with a bit more wind, collapsed again.

Stood it back up with 4x2s plus cross bracing plus a 90 litre dustbin full of water at each corner as ballast. That worked until I got a distress call from Mrs RnB, whole lot had come to bits, taken off and landed on top of her car. I nearly just got a can of unleaded and a match at that point.

Fortunately the job was nearly finished by then, next day was calm and a tarp was good enough.

Next place (I'm dreaming, I know) is having a nice big barn with a 4 post lift in it.

Those camper vans use them over camping fires successfully, perhaps you have to be a bit more mindful, plenty of people have set fire to their garages with welding equipment, they weren't mindful. A near neighbour had trampoline in the front garden after a bit of a blow it was found 4 doors down.
