they forgot the engine ,,, the one I could supply would only be a two strokes ,, and I dont think it would propel that thing half as fast as it looks like it should go.
This one? https://www.renishaw.com/en/first-m...factured-by-renishaw-for-empire-cycles--24154My old company 3D printed a bike about 3-4 years ago as a publicity stunt and rode it in a competition of some sort (can't remember) - it didn't break, but then it was a big chunky thing!
Not a chance the machine weighs a few tonnes and after it’s printed it still needs to be machined. You’d need a dedicated engineer for that plus a machinist on boardI heard/read/imagined somewhere that the US navy have something like the printer, so they don't have to carry such a big inventory of parts?
If you have to ask you can’t afford itNo prices either![]()
No, but it's quite interesting Renishaw did it! This one was made out of SLS Nylon from memory. I've slept since then mind!
Did you notice the typo. in their Scalmalloy? I believe it should read Scamalloy.
You could take away the bike pictures, substitute a piece of high end audio equipment and all the marketing wink could remain unchanged.
