Welder cart

I need a cart for my TIG welder and I thought I'd have a go at cutting one on the laser from 3mm steel. Hopefully the slots/tabs should make it easy to put together.

1kW fiber laser.

About 30kg. I may add some holes to reduce the weight a bit. 2mm would probably have been fine, but I only have a 3mm sheet in stock. Estiimated cut time is 10 minutes.

It looks like the rear panel is solid? If so I would add some big holes so not to restrict airflow otherwise your welder will overheat.

The welder stands on top of the cart - it is not enclosed.

Still need to draw the hooks that will attach to the side to hold the cables.

In that case, ensure that it's secured to the cart by a strap or some such - having the weight right up top can [design etc depending] make the whole assembly top heavy and liable to topple if knocked etc, and you don't want your nice machine launching itself to the ground.
