Hi, im a new member, ive been getting lots of tips and generally enjoying the forum, just coming to the closing stages of my welding cart and thought id post a thread and see what people think. Thought id keep the idea simple, it moves great on its swivel wheels,the steel i got from the scrap yard is about 5mm and too thick my little welder reallyi just made sure i got plenty of weld on it. I may put some hooks on for the earth and power cable to hang on and a lick of paint. Any tips comments welcome , cheers

That looks like a good start.
Hooks for the leads and hose are a good idea, it drives me mad when people make these trolleys and have the leads in a mes all over the place.
What other projects do you have in mind?
If not sure your next mission is to chop up your pushbike and build a chopper or tallbike.

Cart looks very well indeed. Plenty of room there for a little drawer or 2 underneath for your bits and pieces (mig related stuff)

Thanks for replies, hadnt thought of drawers will keep it in mind, was thinking of a box trailer for my next project, but strange you should mention push bikes cos my neighbors got about a dozen old kids bikes and stuff lying around, so will have to ask if i can chop them to pieces and make some use . cheers

Put a couple of hooks for the power and earth leads although the pictures not great, and a coat of paint and jobs a goodun .
