Hi,
As ive just started getting into TIG i decided its time to have a good sturdy bench to work from rather than the shanty old thing i was using.
Happened to have a tonne of 6mm angle iron laying around so i woke up fresh faced this morning and set to it. I wasnt after making anything fancy with storage or anything like that. I simply wanted a good, large, sturdy platform to call home.
Managed to get it done in a few hours and if the sheet metal had arrived it would have been finished. sadly ill have to wait until monday for that. Its nice and solid. before the lower supports were in place i stood on top of it and jumped up and down several times which had no effect on it what so ever. Its even better now with everything in place.
