welding rods????

which welding rods should be used for steel work, up to 10mm all positionals, currently limited to 6013 as i cant find any others here in my part of northern ireland but im sure they are out there somewhere lol. amps is no problem, i have a 300amp arc welder, or else a 140 inverter and a 180 oil cooled.

Hi , If its steel girders or structual tube /box section We use low hydrogen 7016 or 7018 you should be able to pick up orlikon rods over their :-)

i always keep the rods dry, there actually stored in the rayburn royal in th house lol, best place 4 them, most of the welding in my part of th country is mig for industrail and stick for farmers and they dnt care what kind of rod lol, i must try and find a good supplier over here, fanks 4 the help
