Give to top a whiz over with a 60 grit flap wheel, Only take a couple of minutes, Wear a mask to prevent breathing in the rusty dust.

May pay to bolt the plate down with countersunk bolts to whatever frame you build for it, 10mm plate may curl if you get a bit carried away with weld on the underside.

I don't know if I'm putting this in the right place I've just been and got top for my welding bench and the box section i need if there is anyone in Birmingham area who needs any angle iron and big box section also 2 massive welding tables they have a top which is 20mm these weigh a lot also there's various machines he is getting rid of you have to be quick as he wants it to be emptied by end of the month if any ones interested ill give you his phone number .

oh I forgot there will be a forklift for sale when he's cleared the workshop out it's all cheap as he's got to clear it out as his dad is retiring and he didn't want to carry on with the business as he couldn't find a partner and he didn't want to carry on by himself he said he was working 7 days a week and the turn over was around 300.000 per anum
