Welding third hand

I know we've all seen made and used a welding hand but done something a little different! I've threaded the end and used mig tips for the contact this way you can grind whatever shape you want on the end eg/ a groove to help holding small round profile or just flat if that's better all you do is unscrew and grind the tip to shape or grind a new mig tip

what's different about this one is you can change the tips and shape new ones to suit what you want to hold

Plus its a second use for knackered tips.

The other USA design also had removable mig tips. Jodie on welding tips and tricks quite a long time ago brazed some brass/silicon-bronze to his 3rd hand. Always more than one way to skin a cat.

Yes I've seen the video on brazing a tip on the end that's what gave me the idea on the replaceable mig tips I am a member of other forums is it my mfletch on the other USA forum
