Welding trolley project

I decided the time had come to sort out some transport for my welders and bottles etc.
But I was a bit short of steel, luckily as I drove through an industrial estate this morning someone had left on the pavement a load of office desk bits out for the scrap man to collect, perfect, so I decided to be a scrap man and recycle these bits into something far more useful.

That's as far as I got today, will do some more this week.

Have incorporated a couple of draws into the middle of it where I can keep all the TIG bits and other odds and sods.

Need to add some bits on to the base for holding the bottles, as also find some casters. Oh and weld the two sides together, only one side is welded at the moment.

My sets sit on a OHP trolley. Couldn't say no at a fiver

Made a bit more progress tonight

The galvanised bit at the bottom of the tig rods I found in the skip at work today, it's actually a guard from a non return valve, it's perfect! Just need to put a bit of support at the top for the rods, then got a few other bits to add to it, rack for clamps, angle grinder discs, angle grinders, TIG torch etc...

Hopefully some nice castors will arrive tomorrow or Friday so I can get it on some wheels.

Then need to cut another bit of wood to go under the welders and get some steel for the top. Oh yeah, and add a way to secure the gas bottles, although I'm about to run out of MIG gas
