Welsh Dragon

I had a customer ask me if I culd make a Welsh Dragon, she was a bit vague but she sowed the seed of an idea. So I decided to have a go at one anyway. I figure there are plenty of patriotic Welshmen about so here we go.
Drawn to the finished size in white and the layout tweaked to suit in pink chalk.

Detail of the tail, I was pleased with the way this turned out.

Legs fitted today, I expected the front raised one to be a right pain, but it was fairly simple.

Next job is feet, then the head followed by wings. I might add some detailing to the legs but that can wait until the feet are done.

Wouldn't the neck be at the wrong angle? I.e. pointing in the other direction.

I'm sure Chunko could manage a workaround with a little imagination. Most of it is pointing the right way after all.

Looks great, especially the tail.
Is it going to be skinned with scaley things or left as a skeleton?
The legs have a bit of an Oscar Pistorius look to them.

The legs? I will get the feet done and see if they need a bit of detailing.
Otherwise I will leave it with an open structure.
