What are these things?

Found these in the shed I'm trying to clear, I've no idea what they are.

The wooden handles were about 18 inches long or 50 cms.

Any ideas folks?

The two on the right look like scutch combs - used to dress stone to give it a patterned finish, flip them over hold on the left hand and hammer on the dog leg, not a clue on the other one.

The one is a "finger" off a finger bar mower or hedge cutter.
The knife reciprocates and cuts against it.

They are also used on combines but tend to be 2 together in one unit.

The other thing looks like part of the shears on an Allen sythe or similar machine.

@Mick Annick , interesting, I've just googled them and I like your thinking.

However, I can't see where you'd hit them unless it was very soft stone.

Could they be for removing animal skins?

I appreciate the stone where you are is mainly granite so pretty hard, but over here it’s limestone and as hard as a decent Brie so they’d have no problem marking it, you’d hit it with a wooden mallet holding it as you would a froe. I think a sharp knife is all you need for animal skins, not that I’ve done it.

Cut it off at the roots by standing on the 90* bit. Then jab it with the pointy bits to throw it on a trailer.

@wyn, that's interesting, the previous owners used to weave hemp into fabric. Many years ago, jute I think it's called.

Usually such root lifters are an angled blade attached at both ends and 18 inches or so wide so that when they plough under the root the crop is forced up to lay on the ground or in later ones get pushed on the chain riddle elevator so it can be dropped in a hopper or into a trailer all nice and as clean as possible to save land workers having to walk the fields knocking & topping the beet with a hand sickle that has a pointed hook on the end and a razor sharp blade on the main hook part .

As a kid 65 plus years ago the horse drawn plough was still in use on a lot of small farms . At four years old I used to watch my dad topping & tailing sugar beet . chucking the T&T'd ones in a heap about twelve feet away from all directions so that after a couple of days he & his pals would use round ended ( blobs )

on the end of massive 2 foot wide beet fork​

s to shovel them up and chuck them up six feet or so in to the big 2 ton two wheeled cart .
