What can I put along edge of drive, to make it more visible during night, when reversing car up in rain?

My drive has a drop, and at night especially in heavy rain it is not easy to see the edge. What can I use to make the edge more defined?

couple of wooden sticks with cheap screw on reflectors would get you going ,,, right height for the mirrors to see
maybe one on the handrails

I have thought of a few ideas. My reversing light does not illuminate that side/area. Years ago it was easy to fit additional lights to a car on the steel bumbers.

Ill bet your indicators will ,, side repeaters etc ,,, go for white reflectors ,, sure at three quid for four and a bit of 2x1 , worth a go.
obviously you will have to indicate as your reversing

Also considered a small mains led light mounted low on front of drive pointing along edge towards back.

My dad had a Ford Fusion and the reversing light was awful

I just tapped in to the reverse light and fitted a spot light in the middle of the car so he could see to better at night

Was a decent hella one so through the light really well

If you also turn your normal lights off the white reverse will highlight things with out your tail lights obscuring things

Yeah, I thought about that too-my thinking was and still is about everyone getting their phone out to take photos of the silver estate upside down on the lawn

Definately not. There are no paths and the street is very narrow. The nutters come up and down close to the blind drive exit. Imagine reversing out. I drive out with windows down to listen, and creep out at snail pace.

a floodlight high up on the house with a pir and paint a white strip down the side of drive and use your side mirrors

White paint along the edge is probably a good idea, that or put a hand rail/mini fence along the edge which could also be white.

A reversing camera and screen in the car is quite useful, I dont think I'd have a problem parking there, using that.

the reflectors on sticks puts them at wing mirror height ,, not much on the ground will be of use , unless you have something like a range rover where the mirrors dip when you put it in reverse ,,, and thats really annoying if you actually use your mirrors to see whats behind you going back. if your patient you could put the front reflector at say two feet , and the rear one at say two foot six , and know that the two reflectors should be vertical in line when your going backwards in the perfect place . ... well you get the idea , no bulbs , no transformers , no solar , just a couple of sticks.
