What CFM - Handiair V1

Hi, I've been given a compressor and found a few facts on the website but want to use it for spraying. It's the 2 1/4 X 1 version. Does anyone have a pdf manual, any background information or it's CFM to find out it's suitability? Thank you.

if i am reading the data plate correctly the kw is 750w ie about 1 hp so very low power for a compressor would normally be say 3kw 4hp so the cfm produced will be low if my maths is correct. have you got a picture of the whole thing

Typically 3kw will provide circa 15 CFM FAD. So thisone at only 750w is barely going to produce 3 - 4 CFM. Though 75psi is ample for pumping up car tyres etc...

If you have a large receiver and very low duty cycle it'll probably be okay for spraying but just don't expect to do anything in a hurry.

EDIT: Sorry, I should have added, again typically, you need around 10CFM for a regular spray gun and the same again if you are using an air fed mask.

There's one mentioned in another thread Mig welding 2x1. Looking at that I'd say as it has no receiver then its more suited to an air brush rather than a spray gun

There is a receiver. Different bore and lower p.s.i. For mine.
