What fitting is this - milling tool

But what mill fitting is that?

We use them at work fizzy, there bloody brilliant as long as they don't get totally smashed, as you tend not to be able to get them out of the holder.

What are they typically used for? They look pretty cheap for what they are. Around £20.

They look identical to the Iscar system we have at work.
Idea is you don't replace the whole shank everytime mill has a mishap

They are used for high volume production processes so you don't need to re set tool hight when the cutting head is worn. We use them are used as a general milling cutter.
