I've been through a couple of pages of Google search and the only one that stated anything about the ally described it as 'Airplane grade"!Go and look at manufacturers of aftermarket yokes and clamps.
Ignore the 'billet' and 'aerospace' marketing BS on their websites and identify the material grade they use.
Pick the same grade of material.
The people doing this work may use inflated terms to sell their items but they would not stay in business long if the stuff they use snaps and ends up with someone killed.
6082 T6 H30. Thats what I used to make motorcycle yokes, risers and clamps etc.I've used 6082 T6 without it causing a problem, machines nicely and anodises if required.
