what grit before basecat ?

Hi everyone, i have just sprayed my car in 2k primer filer ,after i flat the whole car down,what grit shall i apply over the car prior to applying basecoat.

if you are using wet n dry id go for 800 if you use a course grade you may see the scratches the the finished job

600 for straight colour or 800 for COB

if you are flatting you primer repairs .Put on a guide coat ,dry flat with 320 once blocked .PUT another guide coat on and go over it with a 500 on a d/a the d/a must have a interface pad on.This will take out your 320 marks and you will have a nice smooth surface for base .Works every time
