As to the value of one, I don't know. I would have GLADLY paid £500 for the one you showed knowing what I know now about them.
It is a big lump so hobby users might not be too keen on it (difficulty in moving/loading and unloading).
If you don't need it, @RobCox NEED an Elliott lathe to fit in with his Elliott shaper and Elliott mill......

If it's capable of taking say a Land Rover flywheel in it (12"+) in the gap then for that price I'd be damn interested @8ob...

I also have an Elliott Shaper and an Elliot Sturdimill. Oh and and 2 Elliott drills and a surface grinder!
I do have a lathe badged up as an Elliott - a little Unimat SL with an Elliott badge on it - they were the importers at one stage
My warehouse is a bit of a mad jumble. Will see what I can do.
Even though I have so many machines my favourite go to lathe is still my trusty old Colchester Triumph roundhead.
Wiltshire not that far from Swansea - you are welcome to pop over one weekend
