what oil to use?

What oil should i be putting in my compressor? its a fiac belt driven if that makes a difference.

Any good compressor oil, ISO 68 grade which is SAE20. You were correct to specify the compressor, it does affect the oil selection.

So there is specific compessor oil, glad i didnt chuck the spare bike oil in it then. Where would i find such oil, machine mart???

They do one but it's either SAE30 or 40, too heavy. I think SIP may do it and I've seen it on Ebay. Morris oils do a good one if you can find a local distributor, I'm sure if you asked Morris they would let you know the nearest.

Most probably not, it isn't intended to work at high temperatures.
