What on/off/pressure switch can I use?

I picked up a "working" used compressor last September, since then its been rolling around in a relative's trailer until they passed by here in the week.

First time trying to start it buzzed for a few seconds then blew a fuse, seems the starting capacitor is knackered, so waiting on another one.

I also want to replace the switch as parts of it have been broken off and the "on" button won't work unless you smack it fairly hard. The main connection to the tank is 1/2" BSP female and the unloader valve is an assembly that pokes out the bottom and then connects sideways. It looks like an older version of a Condor MDR 5 switch, but I don't want to spend that much on one if I can avoid it.

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions? Is the unloader pipe likely to survive being bent and twisted to reach the bottom-entry position on generic Chinese switches?

Machine mart do a cheap pressure switch

I'd go with a generic switch and replace the (presumably) copper unloading pipe with a nylon one and push-fit connectors. A new switch will most likely take a metric sized pipe anyway.

id do the same.
and if there was a concern about using a plastic instead of copper then id either make a new copper pipe up or get a few 90dg fittings to get to where id need it to go with the original one.

plastic and quick fit connections are 100%, i just said it in case there might of been something i didnt know to it tbh.
