until you source a new pressure regulator just take it out the loop and screw the PCL fitting on to the tank outlet in its place under the pressure switch
any hobby type Parm..Machine Mart have them on the shelves mate if one is near youBrilliant, will any pressure regulator do or is it specific to the machine
Do you ever adjust the pressure or has it been sat at wide open for the last decade? If it has, simply remove it and fit your coupling into the tee to the other guage.
If you adjust it, then any other regulator will do - just need suitable fittings to connect it - or just plug it in and out as needed:

fit one on the end of your tank just use a reducer to fit much better arraignment and more air flow
There isn’t enough clearance from the tank to screw the reg on
Other option is to remove the pressure switch assembly and fit it all up on the bench, this will require the motor and pump to be removed as there is no clearance in the horizontal plane
if I fit PCL in place of the reg as per @roofman suggestion as it’s normally used at full tilt, then get the gizmo suggested by @bricol connect with length of hose to be used when required
this is the least faffing around way of getting it going
will this work?
There is a used regulator and switch here parm.
Yours if you want it
for air brush use, I have a small filter/reg with PCL inlet and outlet to plug into the nearest connection and then hose to the air brush into it - regulate where and when I want it. Otherwise I come to pull the trigger on the impact gun and wonder why its running so pathetically
Look at the spec of the filter/regs reasonably carefully - even a 1/4" one will flow rather a lot of air.
