What size copper pipe to cope with mask+gun

I've started building my compressor hut to move the compressors out back of the workshop. Is it ok to run in 15mm copper or should I use 22mm? I have a 3HP 150L 14CFM compressor and two small DIY compressors and at most I use an airfed mask and LVLP gun together.

I have a Metalworks regulator which may be the bottleneck, it's same as the Devilbiss one, has 1/2" ports.

The compressor hut is only a metre away from the regulator and my quick connect ports but I was going to zigzag the copper a bit to condense out the water so that my desiccant doesn't get used up so quick.

15mm will be fine, put the regulators as close as possible to where it's going to be used so the pipe is at tank pressure.

15mm will do everything u want to do with your set up without cfm loss

! ran 22mm around most of the place with 15mm drops, only because I dont know what I am doing and was erring on the side of caution. I too am moving the compressor into the next county and am wondering if I should put a receiver where my compressor sits now.

its worth having a secondary receiver on the end of the line . more air storage and a good cooler before putting the water separator on. I use one on my sandblasting pot and its portable as well for blowing tires up away from comp

I used 22mm and built a condenser system. I will get you some pics. I use norgren filters. Zero moisture or oil in my air. Slightly went overboard but never had air related issues since which is key

I also used 22mm as I had scrap bits that I just added a few lengths too, mine covers a small wall with drops to help cool the air, I am thinking about adding a extra gas bottle tank though to help with cooling and storing more air from my 2 compressors

do you do anything special to the bottle? water tap and a in and out any thing else?

has an inlet c coupling and an outlet c coupling and a ball valve on the top to a pcl fitting it has a dip tube down to bottom that can empty water under pressure il take a picture tomorrow

15mm copper will take a lot of air especaly if plumbed nicely. i can put an open pcl fitting to any one of the qr fittings in my workshop and the pressure at any other point dosent drop by any noticable amount . my air pipework is now quite complex.

my dry ish air basicly goes round the workshop on a 15m ring it was only a few extra meters of copper to mke it into a ring and basicly double the flow potential to any one point, blowing off machenary i can be drawing a lot of air, in the region of 90 cfm i'd think
