So, on with the tidying up and finally putting away stuff sort of thread.

I’ve almost got to the bottom of my crap on my bench, I can finally see the old varnished top and found a few unfinished projects
Not done yet but I have to do this for my own sanity!
One of those Bott cabinets is practically empty so I can get on with sorting my tools out and putting them away.

I’ve also got around to putting up a few tool supports that I took from a couple of electrical panels which were supporting BIG transformers. Thought they’d make the ideal grinder benches, and as luck would have it I’ve been kicking my Parkside linisher and Creusen polisher around the floor for a couple of years so it’s about time.
Gonna drop them down by a couple of holes tomorrow just to make the work positioning better. Also the direction of the linisher is firing sparks and crap towards my bikes, so a shield may be in order.

She walks away with out even as much of a moan either she's been doing something she should not have or she's been replaced by aliens

If its the latter then I'm liking the new one if its thr first option I just don't want to know

This is a common occurrence here. Other day SWMBO was polishing and treated her horses saddle on the dining room table. So I don't understand why a lot of wimmin get upset over this sort of thing.

I tend to use the kitchen worktops with a bit of hardboard on top.

Just can't work with a jumble around me, same when cooking, drives beloved mad use it put it away, same with 10mm sockets

More progress, if not much. Been up there for 4 hours though, so don’t know quite where the time has gone!
Remade my little corner ally shelf into a bigger corner mild steel one.

Lowered my shelves and mounted a metal rack of sorts, I now know where to lay my hands on my speed clamps and silicone. Also de-boxed the self levelling laser level I got from Lidl. It’s an excellent thing. It’s on that rack above.

Cleaned a bit more

Anyone want this winch wire and pulley hook thingy?

Well, the bit I wasn’t looking forward to. Sorting my benches.
You’ll understand once you see this….

So I had some ally sheet here, cut up some dividers and slotted them so they would interlock and its now looking like this.
Much happier. Still 2 more to sort.

I agree with the too cold comment.

I considered spray painting under the cooker hood (rattle can) but decided best not.

this setup or an old card board box might help hide any evidance

Im glad im not the only one who seems to spend half his life tidying up the workshop, this week i have been refitting & decorating my wifes office, In between i have been tidying the workshop. Trouble is i can never seem to find enough storage space & usually end up throwing stuff out as well!
