Where can I buy Propane?

I'm just south of London. I'm swapping from acet/oxy to Propane/oxy. I'd like to know if there is anywhere local I can buy a bottle and then have it refilled as and when I need it. Is there anywhere that does that? Thanks.

Loads of places do it but I'm from the midlands best thing is to pick up a empty bottle from somewhere then its just a case of filling it up have a look in caravan sites we even get them laying at the roadside around here usually travellers just dump them

Just look up Camping Suppliers in the Yellow Pages then ask if they Propane, or go down the local council tip and see if you can get an empty cylinder for a tenner then find a camping shop......simples

As has been said, camping shops, DIY outlets, garages etc etc, be prepared to use up to 4 times as much oxygen

Look up the big suppliers on the WWW enter your post code in the find your local supplier look up. Find / beg / borrow an empty cylinder for the right supplier and go in and swap it for a full one, usually they are not bothered what size you swap, could be a 12 kg in and 19 kg out they don't seem to mind.

all of my local garden centres will swap an empty for a full, or if you don't have an empty some will charge something like a tenner and the price of a refil
