Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have, what may seem like a silly question, but I've never owned a welder before.
I'm in the beginner's grade as far as welding goes, just having completed my first 6 months at tafe, studying boilermaking and fabrication. Long way to go yet.
I've just purchased my first mig welder (a cheapie) has the name of Tryweld MIG SYN1601 upon it.
The problem I have is that while setting up the welder, I found a lead inside the wire cavity, attached to the front of the wire roller mechanism but the other end was just lying in the cavity. I'm not sure where this lead goes. I think it may have been shoved into the cavity while being stored.
I have a few pics of the lead and the front of the welder.
Could anyone please shed some light as to where this lead fits? I'd really appreciate all the help I can get.
Regards
Gav
