where to put needle lubricant

Hi

I have a small pot of spray gun needle lubricant and need advice as to where to apply it. Also Is there any risk of lubricant contaminating paint if applied too much or in the wrong place? thanks

personally i don't use anything like this to cut out the risk of reactions with paint, just clean my guns thoroughly after every use

Likewise, I have never had the need to use lubricant, just thorough cleaning after use. Having said that, I don't spray very frequently these days.

it should be paint safe ...ive always put the odd drip on the needle shaft that you can see when the trigger is pulled , and some on the needle ajuster threads
