which spray gun

Hi all,
I am currently rebuilding a classic mini and nearing the end of all the welding and initial prep work. I am going to spray the car myself but need some recommendations on a spray gun for colour and one for primer. Although i am not on a tight budget i am not looking for a concours finish so dont want to spend mega cash on a gun and want one that will suit a diyer. I have a clarke 3hp v twin compressor with a 100ltr tank. I know they advertise it as 14cfm unit but this is probably its displacement cfm rather than its fad which i am guessing is more likly to be around 9cfm fad. Any info would be much appreciated.

The DeVilbiss grav fed ones are the best all round for a reasonable price i tink thats all we've ever used and it leaves vitrually no orange peel, coupled with top quality thinners and filteres paint and dry air with a good technique then not much can go wrong, start by spraying emulsion onto bits of cardboard to get a decent technique. thats what i did anyway

For years I used DeVillbiss JGA guns, excellent tool and can be picked up cheaply these days as most have gone to HVLP.
One thing is that you can have the best gun in the world and still not get a good finish, you need to learn how to paint first.
I've used the £20 JGA copies off ebay in the past and got a factory finish from them.
