Got given a few old pub gas bottles earlier on this week so i thought make a wind chime with one
Cut with the plasma cutter,the bottles are about an X size 800mm high by 125mm dia
with mug scale of course
Took an age to get it polished up like this,like what the hell is that paint they put on clogs every damn disc up i threw at it
Anyway,bent some 10mm round bar for the top and welded a little design on the front
Heres it hanging so to speak
Added a bit more weld to the design,the wind flapper thing is 2mm sheet all hung with fishing line,the clapper inside is a bit of wood,gives a soft tone but quite loudish, rings for a while to,if that makes any sense
might try metal see how that sounds
stands just over 6ft on some old 10mmx 30mm bar i had
Have to coat it up with something as i dont fancy the rust look,have a tin or PU lacquer spray somewhere might try that
I like it,her indoors likes it,only problem is when it does ding/dong i keep checking me phone
