Wire feed motor noisy

Hi, do you know whether the wirefeed is so noisy when the set is new. Just bought it.and noisy. Also had snapon version.that was the same. Can it be remedied without detriment to set or best left alone. Cheers.

I had one for years. always did whatever asked of it but wire feed a bit dodgy if the torch feed wasnt held straight. £5 of liner off ebay sorted this. and yes not the best welds with co2, much better on argon mix. and yes wire feed isnt the quietest. tips shrouds etc readily availale
