Wireless spdt light switch

I want to replace this switch with a wireless solution, it's part of a two way circuit which but I can't change the the other switch as it's part of a 3 gang switch in the house.

Quinetic don't seem to have a solution for this, where you only want a simple spdt switch.

Any thoughts.

If they do a spst you could use one of those and a relay

Use a wireless module near the ceiling rose. The switch remains but is a command to the module.

Edit....reason I say near the rose is to pick up the neutral which will increase options.

I've used those....in fact I've got 3 awaiting installation would need a deeper back box.

My thinking is to split the existing lighting circuit concerned.

From the C.U. /fuse, trace the circuit, before it goes anywhere install two separate live junction boxes off that circuit, one junction box feeds a new circuit to existing lamp fitting, ( or new one ) culminating in a Quintec switch and a remote switch where ever you wish.

The 2nd live junction box supplying whatever is operating on the 3 gang switch which should be changed to a 2 gang one.

Cabling is required but shouldn't be that difficult.

The way I did mine was to fit a Sonoff switch by the ceiling rose, picking up the mains and directly controlling the lamp. Then the functions are Wireless on/off or conventional wall switch operation when off.

I understand but aesthetics is usually subjective but you don't want it looking too odd.

Imo a Quintec next to a 2 gang Schneider or Scolmore large rocker switches won't look so out of place.

My feeling was that being wireless, it didn't matter any more and when off, it is transparent anyway.

Here's how the Sonoff ZBMINIL2 wires in...how easy that is to wire in depends on exactly how the two way is wired....

Or build a small cover over it with a couple of wood strips and either hardboard or thin ply

Or move the switch up to the top of the door frame

Pretty sure you can convert a standard switch or the one gang of a 2/3/4 gang switch to wireless by using a Quinetic if you have a neutral.

Thinking you could replace the existing back box with a 47mm to get space for the Quinetic unit. You would though need a neutral as I say.

Or fit it in the ceiling by the rose so as to pick up a neutral.
