Wood barrel 1/2inch tap adapter

Has anyone seen a supplier for these adapters? It's a taper thread that will screw into wood. The place below is out of stock.

Will look a bit better than these plastic water butts from the garden centre once cleaned up.

Go up one layer in the menu to 'cellar equipment' as there is also one described as having an 'L' thread'.

'Cask tap' or 'keg tap' might also be good search terms. 'Barrel tap' finds mostly oil drum stuff.

You can also buy hardwood or plastic spiles that you could tap a BSP thread into.

Note that CN112, CN212, CN234 etc. are different sizes.

Anyone know what 'CN' stands for or can find a drawing/spec.?

I used a 3/4 " standard outdoor tap, and just screwed the standard thread into the oak with a bit of liquid thread seal. Did the job, much cheaper.

Well that's probably worth a try.

The bigger tap allows a bigger flow, there isn't much pressure/head, so the rate is slower.
