Wooden fence to Scaffold

I am getting lost in "google" could anyone point me to a uk supplier of some thing similar to these.

I wish to affix closed board pannels to upright 42mm poles and can't find anthing apart from stateside suppliers, and before someone suggest making some ..trust me i haven't got the time or welding skills required

Only really works if you're a farm or agricultural business as you can get access to proper cresote. But we maintain a barrel full of posts and creosote, leave them in there for at least a month (we leave them until just before they're needed) and the creosote soaks through the wood very well. Those posts have been in the ground (in wild wet west Wales) for about a decade with no issue. A few years ago we had to trim / modify an 18" round post and cut the tip with a chainsaw, only the centre inch was left un-creosoted so for anything smaller it can safely be assumed to get 100% penetration.

I thought the idea was to use galvanised tube / scaffold standards, which will sink into the ground and then bolt the fence members to the poles with brackets shown. Wouldn't the biggest benefit come from not having to put any wood into the ground at all?

Don't like the looks but like the low maintenance.

I like the look of that very much, the contrasting wood/concrete. Nothing worse than a wall of generic feather edge in my opinion.

This "Post Sleeve" solution:

can also be replicated by wrapping the base of the post, up to 2" above ground/concrete level, in a DIY sleeve made from torch-on roofing felt.

Permanent or temporary? Scaffolders use perforated strip for temporary boarding on tubes.

It depends on the farm to be honest, if I remember correctly there's a not insubstantial difference in cost between the two methods which is important to farms. Plus doing normal livestock fencing with galvanised tube I can imagine being a sod.

Having said that my parents are now switching over to using galvanised gate posts, not because the old ones don't work but the quality of the posts we can get has really taken a turn. Most of them have cracks in them from the start and those that don't get cracks very soon after. It's OK for the intermediate posts along the fence line but for where we have to drill through them to hang a gate - not ideal.

Saddle clamps. There are two types - loose and tight fitting to scaffolding tub so ensure the right version. I get them from engineering pipework suppliers

Since your using scaffold pipe like I did for fence posts, consider simply using 4" x 2" 's attached horizontally with self tapping screws. Then it's just a simple matter to screw panels or vertical boards to, and layout isn't critical.
