Wylex skeleton fuse boards

A good one for @brightspark here I reckon!
I need to replace an old Wylex skeleton board in a flat, what are the best options to do this?
I've seen the replacement ones online but how good are they and how do I measure why size I need?
It's fitted in the old metal meter cupboard.

Looks a bit of a dogs dinner, like the in line crimps just hanging I understand they are OK to use but seeing they are accessible either Heat shrink or tape would be a sensible thing & permanent supply to flex??, always hated installations that were not laid out neatly.
Latest regs say metal clad box I believe
Have seen a lot worse friend bought a new build with the 4 ring hob Plugged into a 13 amp socket

That crimped cable goes to the shed and will be redone. You can't see it in the photos but it's got a 13 amp plug on it!

That ain't gonna fit in the hole!
It only measures about 300mm wide in that casing!

Just fitted one as per bs's recommendation and they're nicely made IMHO.

the 6 way is 316mm wide it leaves you 1 way less than you need to incorporate the 1 way wylex

I'd go rcbo board, no issue with 2 unnecessary rcd's as well as a dp isolator. Fitted one at the wifes earlier in the year as we were space constrained and needed the ways...

still no use its only 6 way and 300mm needs 7 way min to include bottom wylex
