Anyone good with arduino projects?
I have never used one but I think I have a need for one!
I need to take a pretty small voltage signal (0-3.3v) from a servo drive and output a +5v signal for initial torch hight signaling for my cnc plasma table.
The servo drive outputs 0-1.65v in one direction and 1.65-3.3v the other, in relation to the amps output to the motor,
So when the torch hits an immovable object it will take more amps to move, so that should then trigger the probe input for mach 3
I was hoping to do ths with an adjustable voltage sensing relay (from china) but I dont think that will be sensitive enough, and also i think it might take too much current, the signal from the servo drive is only 300m/A max
Hope that makes sense, i am a total beginner in all things arduino! dont even know what hardware i may need.
any help or even where to look for more info greatly appreciated!
cheers
