They are once dialed in (the blade)..i have had 3 and every one has the clamp set at 90 degree to the blade with the factory stop but if you put a 6" square on the vice face it is about 3 to 4mm out of square to the side of blade over 6".....simple job of once set then scratch a new line on the base for a true 90 degree.Nice work. They're good little machines
always 1st job..oil changeTake the cover with the CE label off and peer at the worm and wheel to ensure they are adequately lubricated.
thank you mate...pet hate is an untidy shop.Nice tidy shop Roofman, good to see

Be sure that use the correct gear oil which is suitable for yellow metals. Classic gear oils usually are and will say so on the bottle.Take the cover with the CE label off and peer at the worm and wheel to ensure they are adequately lubricated.
Glad your happy, your man space is much tidier than mine!Recently picked up a bandsaw from addjunkie, i have fitted it to a table with lockable wheels. Also made a support for longer stock hanging over the back, then a plate for vertical sawing which is really handy too. Not a bad addition to the shop and will get used a lot.

The 7x12 I have came with one from the factory, eleiminates a lot of the fears of snappage! They'e not complicated to make from first principles, put a one-way ball/spring-valve in piston with a couple of O-rings, plumb a bypass with a needle vlave and aball valve to shut the motion off - but ready-made is a lot less hassle!I've got an adjustable motorcycle steering damper I intend fitting to my saw to smooth the blade decent. Not my idea but one I'd seen others have done.

I need something to create the mud, wouldn't want to get my tractor dirty!I don't have sheep with 3ft necks wandering about
M6 1.5P countersunk machine screws you need.I’ve just got a Clark version of this standard saw, used but a good price cant quite believe what they are new these days!
I do like that idea of mounting it on decent bench. Maybe get coolant sorted too.
Just needs the two screws for the vertical table plate. Presumably they’re imperial?
Is it it the M42 blades for best straight cutting?
