i take 2 parking spaces up in supermarket car parks so i dont get hit by nurds opening there doors on it. at the school i do work at i cone my van offGiven the number of imbeciles who think it’s acceptable to ding doors that’s not a bad idea.
It can help find the dodgy garages that short change on fuel.I'd be willing to bet that he has a notebook in his glovebox with details of everytime he fills with fuel, the date and mileage.
Wasn't it the Citroen C4 Cactus that basically had huge ribbed rubber bump cushions on the door panels? An ugly thing, it was., but I can see the advantage in car parks.Given the number of imbeciles who think it’s acceptable to ding doors that’s not a bad idea.
Plus it’s parked 2’ from the white line, so someone would really have to try to hit it with a door. I wonder what’s on the other side?Safe ??? i don't think the driver uses the car with it hanging, i think its a great idea to combat thoughtless sods that just open doors with no regard for the car next to it.
That would be my dad!I'd be willing to bet that he has a notebook in his glovebox with details of everytime he fills with fuel, the date and mileage.
Krooklock? My dad carried one for decades. That would be my dad!
Anyway, I did notice this guy (I'm making assumptions as I didn't actually see him) takes security seriously as he fitted his steering wheel lock before going shopping in Lidl. I didn't know anyone still uses those.
And there's me... sometimes forget to lock the car!
That's the thing! Couldn't remember what they were called.Krooklock? My dad carried one for decades.
Considering how huge modern cars are compared to their ancestors I don’t think parking spaces have got any bigger in years.i blame the car parking spaces as they are not wide enough as they try and fit as many parking bays into one area
the other types are the ones that dont know there widths of there vehicles and somehow manage to park really close to your vehicle
Main problem I can see is arrogant yobs trying to mark the car as its brought attention to it.
