I have a diesel welder, its a BOC transweld DELL-200 its a miller in different clothes, the machine wont come off high idle unless the power / weld switch is on power setting as soon as its in weld mode the revs pic up regardless where the auto idle switch is set too, on or off,
I have changed a few components as initially some SCR's were blown, I read to change the capacitors too as the type they are they dont age well, anyway it worked for a short time but has failed again, nothing visible looks out of sorts, I did get some help from Miller direct but they wont or cant trouble shoot the board, I have spent some time removing a leg from all the diodes to see if any of them are at fault, they all test good, there is a protective coating which is a pest to remove the component's, so before I go and try removing more components looking for the possible failed one. I thought I would seek help if any, can anyone see a route as to why SCR 50 is not unlatching, even if I remove the power leads from the pins the solenoid does not let go.

Thanks in advance
