Hi, wonder if anyone can help...I’m experiencing an arc error on one of my robots. It’s a Yaskawa , Fronius CMT welding robot.
I’m getting arc errors in a particular area for the last 6 weeks. It all started with a wire tangle, which was quickly rectified and while feeding the wire back through, it pierced the liner. The liners were replaced and during that days production , we started to experience arc errors. Initially , all that was required was to feed the wire through and restart the robot. This issue has now developed to burning back in the tip.
I’ve replaced the liners (again) , full harness, boomerang, Robatca drive , Fronius CMT unit but problem remains.
There was never an issue until that wire tangle and robot ran well prior to that with the program parameters it’s currently running at. I’m confused why it only effects one area. It's a C frame with ST1 & ST2
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
