Now i know theres quite a few welders here and there where the actually welding power is less than its name suggests, but from what i rememeber the old supermig 180's (before the new shape ones with the plastic surround on the front) used to go up to 170A on the chart (180a max i think it said) on the specs on the front of the machine
The new ones read 30a/15.5v-145a/21.25v, so where are they getting the 180a from?
And according to the duty cycle, 15% @ 145A, so if they could somehow weld at 180a on 21.25v (dont get it) how long would they do it for, 5 seconds?
