The thing seems to weld fairly decent on easy position welds, will do down hill okay, but as soon as I attempt to weld on the side or overhead, it is like the wire speed is to high and the weld heaps up, wind wire speed down and I get burn back on the tip and general spluttering.
I can sort of weld, but am no pro welder.
Been modifying a trailer to accept a rear pull out to carry longer loads (mainly straw) and the welds have been driving me nuts.
Inner box section is 80x80x4 maybe 5mm, outer box is much heavier, plate I was using is 5mm chequer plate, all galv ground off before anyone mentions it!
Setting was as per the pics, the machine was in position B.
