Hey Everyone so the clear coat on my car was peeling so I opted to wet sand it down to avoid it peeling further. I was thinking I can just mask off surrounding areas and base coat and clear over this once I clean it up a bit of course but I was also thinking I can just wet sand the whole door base coat and clear coat the whole door. It would look more uniform right? If I do sand all the clear down do I need to also sand the base coat and primer then base coat and clear or can I skip the primer? Sorry for the questions this is all new to me and I just want to learn as many new skills and techniques when it comes to working on cars whether it be paint mechanical or anything of the sort I want to learn and grow so I may do things on my own. Thanks in advance to all those who will respond.
