It's a big possibilityThose (4) corner bushings indicate to me it was on a CNC machine, looks like the Jergens location/locking system or similar.

Removing rust isn't groundbreaking and yet there is such a big *** issue about it...belittle it all ya want as zero fks are given...trouble is some people can't think for them self's on how to achieve a simple task by using really common things like a pair of hands....if there is loads of people doing the same good luck to em....There's a difference between groundbreaking things and removing some rust off a flat surface; not to belittle it.
Look at patents for instance, holders make a lot of information known to everyone. But, read a patent and see if you can implement it without a bunch of other information, skill, know-how etc. Very difficult to replicate like for like but there tends to be information there that may be useful to you down the line in other projects, processes etc.
What I'm trying to say is I don't think people should be worried about sharing information, unless it's truly ground breaking. They're not suddenly going to become you... And unless you give an extremely thorough lesson with all prerequisite material, most won't be able to implement it effectively, but a few will, or will endeavour to, and that keeps us all moving in the right direction. Besides, chance is there's many people doing what you're doing already.
No problem....I see the forum is filled with:Removing rust isn't groundbreaking and yet there is such a big *** issue about it...belittle it all ya want as zero fks are given...trouble is some people can't think for them self's on how to achieve a simple task by using really common things like a pair of hands....if there is loads of people doing the same good luck to em....

Please don't be put off.
It's just very discouraging to take time to help the "younger generation" only to have them sum up your whole post with "Meh, I saw it different on U-toob, so you must be all wrong".
It's a fact, and many are getting tired of the treatment.
Also 99.44/100 are good, it's the .66% that ruins it for everyone.
What have you got in mind for a pedestal ? I'm tidying-up and if there is anything in the scrap heap that's suitable then I could put it by.One thing I have got to find is a big really heavy and thick steel pedestal or something similar to mount it on.
Not really sure Mike's.. something big and heavy . Let me see if I can find something that I kind of thinkingWhat have you got in mind for a pedestal ? I'm tidying-up and if there is anything in the scrap heap that's suitable then I could put it by.
