After discovering a Stone age hobby MIG, https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/vintage-migmate-reunited.101179/ I think I've now found the definitive Paleolithic version: Dissection was revealing. Here we have a huge drive motor with a single wire groove on the spindle, no roller; you...

this machine had been left in a wet hut for years powered up ok so decided to clean all contacts ,took off the rctifier and all the ceramic spacers shattered ,i need to know what to buy to replace the rectifier ,thanks for answering i am in scotland and am no electrician
Hello, i have cebora 880 welder , but its broken, have one piece burned , near diodes, but i dont have wiring diagrams , and i dont know , what pieces burned! Have anybody the manual for this ? Thanks a lot Rubens
The attached circuit diagram shows that the secondary of the transformer on this 100 Amp welder is centre-tapped, so it only needs two effective diodes in the rectifier to get full-wave rectification.
I have not found a direct replacement two-diode 100 A rectifier of the same type as the original ( finned aluminium plates with press-fit diodes ). This one from Tec-Arc in York is a four-diode bridge rectifier:
TEC ARC is a leading manufacturer and repair centre of arc welding machines. Other rectifiers available including 170A, 230A, 290A single phase and various three phase rectifiers.

You need one with two diodes, to work with a centre-tapped secondary; you could try asking them if they have a suitable one.
Alternatively, you could use the aluminium plates from the broken rectifier as heatsinks to mount two diodes, either modern "diode modules" :
