hi i have used CEM T150 ac/dc TIG/MMA welding machine and i have issye with connect to power supply
First thanks for thisAccording to the symbols on the dataplate, this machine is an inverter which is preceded by a transformer.
For use on a single-phase 220v supply, you need to install the two brass jumper strips in the positions marked "220V" and coloured blue.
Similarly, for 240v it would be two jumpers at the red positions, for 380v only one jumper at the pink position, 415v = green, and 440v -- black.
To check if this theory is valid, you could try measuring the input resistance of the machine across the Live and Neutral wires with the one or two voltage selection jumpers installed in the positions I have mentioned. Starting at the "440V" setting, the resistance should decrease as you move the jumpers to lower voltage positions. When set for 220V, I would expect the primary resistance to be 1 Ohm or less.

Kempomat250
Hello guys, I’ve bought a Kempomat250 today that needs to be repaired. Guy told me that the fuses blew when he put the welder on 3. He has also molten the wires leading to the transformer. Can someone tell me how to find the faulty component? Thanks in advancewww.mig-welding.co.uk
