A few weeks back I ordered a FS002 compliant pedal from Rapid Welding for my ESAB DTF 180, which is in fact a Lorch HandyTig 210 AC/DC in ESAB's livery.
When I opened the package the first thing that I noticed was, that my pedal was missing the additional 2.5 kOhm pot mounted on pedal. Second interesting thing on the pedal was that the microswitch is NC type and pot value measured with multimeter was 5 kOhm. Tried the pedal yesterday and wasn't able to get it working. Will contact Rapid Welding tomorrow.
When looking at the FS002 pedal's ad at eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/113711426877 mine is definitely different, as it misses the additional pot and two additional pins at the connector, that make the welder sense that pedal is connected.
This is the photo of pedal.
Here's the schematics of pedal from ESAB.
Here's a snap from DTF 180 service manual.
I'm quite confident that I got the wrong pedal but just in case can anyone confirm it?
With Regards
