Hi Everyone,
I am to the forum and looking for a bit of advice on an issue with my welder generator. I've been welding on and off for a few years now and always trying to improve my knowledge and ability.
This question is more on a repair to the welder itself I am trying to do. It’s a Mosa TS300, runs and welds sweet as a nut and produces good power on command. however it has one problem in that the revs won’t pick up on striking and arc but when I manually open the throttle, welds away fine. I’ve diagnosed it back to being the two thin cables coming from the reactor are possibly damaged inside. They are going to the EP1 module via a chocblock but unsure about how feasible it is to repair this circuit on the reactor itself or how intact it detects the weld arc to send signal to ep1 to up the revs . ( I’ve Tested the EP1 and its all good so it’s the reactor ‘pick up’ circuit I need to sort)
Any help of advice from anyone with a bit of knowledge of this type of reactor wiring would be much appreciated. Few photos for reference
Thanks in advance
