Hi from Hereford

Thought it was about time I said hello after enjoying the forum for some time now. I've been slowly increasing my collection of 'essential' machinery and tooling for the last 20 years, to the extent that at present I'm now a 'two lathe Dave' Along with benchtop milling machine, bandsaw etc. I've also just started down the 3d printing rabbit hole, which in turn means the CAD rabbit hole as well. So I guess I'll never be bored!

Hello and welcome. I’m also a 3D printing fan. Probably most useful tool in the shop for making up widgets and allows me to do another job whilst the Widgets get made.

Welcome, I spent a year in Hereford Tech (as it was then?) learning blacksmithing techniques that I'd made a mess of teaching myself. Too many years ago to recall now. All the best.

Thanks for the welcome, unfortunately the farriery school shut down quite a few years ago and is now a retail park. Thankfully it is still taught at Holme Lacy college.

The blacksmith department was in folly lane,1/4 mile from the farrier school,I were there in ‘89,the new place is far roomier.
