Not if it was bolted down on a 120x100. I have shipped much bigger. On a full pallet that would probably have gone over, the load would have been on the central risers and it would have pivoted on them. Should add some braces. If kept on that pallet and the other side is flat just strap it to the headboard.
Absolutely perfect !
Right on the limit. Limiting factors are the double deck truckers which only have limited space at the front or swan neck as its called.Fizzy, I would of thought that bandsaw would be too high, I've had stuff refused because it was just over 2.2m
Always bolt it down. Never turn a pallet truck too tight. And only jack it up just enough to clear the ground.Felt this was appropriate - it's quite well known for anyone that watches Alex Steels videos (he's a blacksmith)
From 9.40. You can feel his pain.
I had a driver turn a machine on a sloping tail lift whilst raised and the pump truck at its full height. It fell off and smashed the machine.Always bolt it down. Never turn a pallet truck too tight. And only jack it up just enough to clear the ground.
And NEVER try to catch it !
There are two different types. Can't remember their names. The best ones remain nice and flat and can be large and powerful often rated up to 1500kg or more. The problem with them is that you can't then use a loading bay as they get in the way hence the underslung type being more popular.I had a driver turn a machine on a sloping tail lift whilst raised and the pump truck at its full height. Why do alot of tail lifts droop
