yep , set everything in the middle , follow the instructions on the front panel for earth as gas less mig is reverse polarity , you will find a manual online , it looks like a generic italian machine [ cebora ], so google snap on mig welder and pic a picture thats close , it will be the same machine in a different color . , practice on some 1mm on the bench till you get the gist , buy a joggler / punch for thirty quid , and learn how to use it too ,,, and dont expect miracles to start with ,, but you will get there , best of all , enjoy the process .yea thougth so too about gas.i plan to be doing lots off spot welds,no lines.any ideas about settings to use on this beast gassles.iv learned to use a mig last year with argon for around 100 hr learning on 3mm -6mm steel.any info would be welcome
stop now ,,, before its too late ,,,,im still a learner, havent welded 1 yr.
thats the name i didnt remember ,,, telwin , all much of a muchnessIts definately italian, a Telwin rather than snap-on/cebora though, similar machines were branded here as "Sealey Automig" and such, if you can find a manual for one of those it'll likely be the same internally
Stick with it ,,, welding is as rewarding as it can be expensive ,,, well hanging about on the forum gets expensive ,,, when I started here I didnt even know what a thermo nuclear sewage pump was ,,, let alone the fact I needed one lol .this form and you lot is realy helpfull.much i will learn though it
