I've been using a small bench top blast cabinet for years. Been looking out for a 220L floor standing blast cabinet for a long time (not many for sale here in NI) and spotted one yesterday.
It is a 220L unit which is a year old. The PO said it was ready to go just add air. (Not sure of that but here's hoping) he had carried out the following upgrades:
Dust extraction fitted.
Strong LED lighting inside.
Middle shelf flipped so it has an edge for storage.
Fully sealed all joints when it was being assembled.
Cabinet mounted air regulator and water trap.
Y air fitting for air blow gun to connect also.
Quick release nuts to window.
Siphon tube done away with and metering valve fitted.
Large probably better new nozzle also included.
PCL XF high flow connectors.
I tried it tonight and it blasts OK,m edia feed isn't very steady. I suspect the original blast gun is of low quality. The sand comes up and has to turn 90 so that wouldn't help for a start.
I plan on doing the following:
Adding a foot pedal to control the air.
Upgrading the diameter of the air hoses.
Replace the original gun with the straight through larger nozzle.
