Seems to be a Mazda thing, our 2016 Mazda 3 had one that went down slowly and having the tyre refitted with sealant didn't help. Ended up getting a new rim. Try the main dealers for prices as they beat a number of the online sellers when I bought thatleaky corroded wheels
There are very few rims that can't be sealed properly with bead sealer. But the rim needs prepared properly first. We use a wire wheel on a drill to clean all the corrosion and flaking paint and then seal it up. Never see any back until they need tyres again.Seems to be a Mazda thing, our 2016 Mazda 3 had one that went down slowly and having the tyre refitted with sealant didn't help. I would agree but the wheel leaked with one tyre, then it leaked with a brand new tyre, then it leaked with the brand new tyre and sealantThere are very few rims that can't be sealed properly with bead sealer
Silly question but where can I find out the paint code? Car did not have a manual or many details with it, really just V5 and keys.
I took my sanding pads, cordless drill and 3m polish out to car.
Looks great. Did you take the headlights out, or mask off the paintwork and do them in place?I got the paint last week

Then started thinking about my degraded headlights.

I took my sanding pads, cordless drill and 3m polish out to car. I didnt really want the effort of dragging the compressor and my 1k clearcoat cans seem to have leaked, so that means any sanding would need to be done in 2k and potentially two days without driving for it to fully harden, hmm, good reason I thought to just try the polish.

Very happy with results. Theres an area on the nearside that looks like the dirt has overheated the plastic and melted the inside, no amount of sanding or polishing could fix that without opening it up.
In place with no attempt to mask or avoid the paintwork. My reasoning being, the paint is not going to be damaged and likely needs it just as much as the lights. If I were going to sand I would have had to mask and be much more careful, either doing it by hand or by taking the lights out.Did you take the headlights out, or mask off the paintwork and do them in place?
